I don't see anything on those pages that even hints that it will be an Online game.
RPG does not automatically equal MMORPG.
In fact, Shrapnel's tendency to buck the "conventional wisdom" of the industry implies to me that they wouldn't even attempt a MMORPG. (Not to mention their size; Shrapnel doesn't have the resources to do a MMORPG.)
