Year is 2447.7? You've been playing for 447 turns?
I wish I had enough time to play that many turns... I'm lucky to get 20-30 turns per WEEK (between a busy work schedule and spending time with my fiancee, it's a bit difficult to find gaming time)...

Re: Is this a \"bug\"?
Actually, s_rat, I also have TWO cats. I usually name at least one battlestation after the 13 year old female cat (7 lbs., named Mia), and at least one starbase after the 6 year old male cat (17 lbs., named Harley).
Yeah, I know, that was seriously off topic and no-one really cares about my cats, but what the heck, I'm bored and I finally made Sergeant in this discussion group, so I'm entitled to ramble occasionally...

Re: Is this a \"bug\"?
I thought it was funny too, in a pathetic kind of way. Too bad the AI doesn't realize that I've already killed 30 or so of the colony ships at that warp point, and it might be a wise move to try a different tactic.
Edit: rethunk statement I made.

if he is just sending colonies, start capturing them. one ship-caputre ship with one boarding party should do it. then you have some of his population to use for his atmosphere type. or if you dont need them, send them back and let them get shot down over his homeworld
