I did that once. Had to reformat my hard drive. I had no guru to help...sigh.

Lession to be learned here.
If you only have one drive... Make sure you partition it.
ANd put all your data on the none OS Partition.
That way you only have to reformat and install the os on the os partiton and everything else is on the other part of the partition.

I have no problem granting Greybeard an extra day or two.
It gave me the time to catch up on the in-game story. 
But seriously, I can empathize with Greybeards situation.
Not only is there the aggravation of getting the computer up and running, but it messes up his PBW games.
