Well, when they drop prematurely it's certainly a drag. But then, when you're getting beaten, what other option is there? Just continue to submit turns while you watch your planets being dismantled?

Oh, and hey, Slynky. I'm your Last whipping boy... er, targ... er, opponent. My apologies, I think I've been the one delaying this game as long as it has - haven't had much time for turns. I have a hunch it'll all be over soon.

Per the 2003 PBW Open Tournament Rules:
-Surrender Disallowed
-If a player feels his position is untenable and wishes to withdraw he may do so. His place will be marked finished and the AI will control it to the end. The victor in any game will be the Last viable human empire remaining.

FYI: I have never "dropped" a game.

In any case, Electrum can perform Intelligence projects against the AI just as well as he could perform them against me.

After 116 turns, I have finally won rd1gm7.
I must commend Satola for his tenacity. He stuck in until the Last dog was hung.

Game 6 has just hit 100 turns and I am still alive!!!

Yippee, jumps around a bit and thanks the SEIV Gods... Ok, just because I am no threat and have been ignored by the three leading Empires doesn't mean it is no achievment... This is my first ever PBW game! So I am happy just to be alive.

I suspect this game as many turns left....
