Now that you've uploaded your set, I sugget you edit your first post in this thread and change the title of "shipset question" to something that grandly announces the arrival of the Blackstar. Maybe throw a few fanfares in there...

Very nice!
I only have one question: Did you intend for the infantry to be a tank?
Since you have a full-body portrait of your race already, it should be pretty easy to give (it) a gun and some sort of armor or military uniform

Well done, this is a great shipset, the carriers look great but my favourites are the battle cruiser and dreadnought! Very good work! The fighters and troop infantry are great also.

Great work, very clean and neostandard compliant too.
It's quite easy to add AI files on your shipset : get an organic race (like Xi Chung) and change a few things to make them less agressive, as you want a peacefull race.
I also add this set to the complete race list on my site.

I wasn't quite expecting this kind of response...I guess de-lurking isn't so dangerous after all
Suicide Junkie: I used mechs for the troops/infantry as the soldiers don't pilot the mechs, they are the mechs.
I might edit the drone tho..I was going for a technorganic look (the green-black), but it's sometimes a bit too dark, it seems.
