Re: Sound Mod 1.01 Posted
Hm. Maybe I should see if I can find a good soundfile of a Starfury cannon firing from the B5 series and assign it to the small depleted uranium cannon.

Re: Sound Mod 1.01 Posted
Sinapus - thanks for the catch. I was all set to upload Version 1.02 this morning, but I will have to wait until tomorrow now so that I can grab nulspc.wav from home. That is what I get for splitting it up into 5 zip files!! Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Talenn is correct about the Aliens sounds, although I modified it a lot (time, pitch, reverb, intensity, etc.) so that it would fit into the sound "time window" of the PD cannon firing. B/T/W thanks for posting those sounds Tenryu, but those are not the ones I ended up using - I will post revised pack tomorrow (and will also include the components.txt file in case you don't want to enter the names as suggested below)

Re: Sound Mod 1.01 Posted
OK, Version 1.02 is posted over in the Mod/Download section. I included a patch with the new files for those of you that already downloaded Version 1.01 Version 1.02 includes the following:
(1) fixes a typo in the readme.txt
(2) adds two missing sounds (nulspc.wav and grdcan.wav) [note - these are not the same sounds posted by Tenryu below]
(3) adds my "Components.txt" file in case you do not want to type in all the changed .wav's
Later

Re: Sound Mod 1.01 Posted
OK Version 1.10 is now posted, essentially I combined all the files into one (got tired of multiple threads) and I updated the Components.txt based on the Version with 1.27b (for those that do not want to type in their own changes). See the readme for details. B/T/W thanks for the interim post Admiral!

Re: Sound Mod 1.01 Posted
FYI - Codo has posted a revised Components.txt to use with my Sound Mod based on SE4 Version 1.30 (patch #4). Thanks Codo! As soon as the link is working again (currently 7:45 EST and still not working), I should be able to download the patch. . .That is what I get for sleeping in

Re: Sound Mod 1.01 Posted
Tampa_Gamer Sound Mod 1.20
Space Empires IV Version 1.30
FYI - The complete zip (including the new Components.txt file for 1.30) is posted over in the download forum. There is also a stand-alone "Components.txt" to use if you previously downloaded the Mod after Version 1.02 of this SoundMod. Codo - thanks for the early post, the only change I made was to put my "mine.wav" back in where you had "Boom1.wav".
As all of my mods are a continual work-in-process, please forward all tweaks, suggestions and bugs found to me at ctraber@ngn-tampa.com.
Have Fun!
