That doesn't work well, actually. It is very easy for a very helpful member with lots of contributions to get a low ranking if they posted some controvercial stuff in OT threads that offended some people...

How about a system that gives people the benefit of the doubt. IE, start everybody's ranking of you at 5, and the ranking will only go down if you are generally annoying or otherwise undesirable.
Best to only count the votes from people who have posted in the Last X days, so dead accounts don't swamp the results.

Does it really matter what their ranks are? I would think that a person capable of playing SEIV would be able to read all of the responses and figure out for themselves which is accurate.
