most of the mods are there to include mod pack 1.01 posted by Tampa_Gamer. A combined effort by him, Mephisto, Daynarr and several others. Improves the AI quite a bit.

You expected a serious fight on Medium difficulty? Try one of the higher difficulty settings...

Besides, I consider myself fairly aggressive, but there have been a few times when I've left an enemy alone for a while, just because my fleets are engaged in a war on a different front. Obviously, I put defense bases at appropriate warp points, but that's hardly aggressive.

BTW - there's a thread somewhere else that discusses a very strange problem with the AI construction queues... something about defense base calls halting the queues unnecessarily. It's kinda hard for the AI to attack if he doesn't have ships to attack with...

Yea, I suppose you are right. I just remembered that I would get my butt kicked a bit more in MOO2 at that type of a setting.

I have plugged in a modpack in the mods section that has an impressive number of AI fixes, which include, the construction queue problem that you mentioned.
