Hate to be annoying, but, er, what's a fake capture? is it two players agreeing to "trade" a ship by declaring war and presenting a vulnerable ship for easy capture? Or is it that there is no setting to prevent ship trades, so people trade them in sectors with boarding ships to make it look like a real capture?

Well I cannot stop that. But it would not be in the spirit of the game. The 'Easy Capture' ( thanks Like that and will use that ) , It will be up to the players to not do that. If it does happen and it is proven then the players are Banned and on the ban list. But the chances of that happening are quite slim. As people will be joining this game to get away from that.... cause they can trade in other games... I have faith in the players.

So I meant anything that is not a genuine, captured-in-heat-of-battle transfer of technology.

Here's another suggestion that I implemented in my latest game (ConventionalWarfare_1_49). Restrict Trade-generating relationships to two per player. I find this has made people much more careful about how they make and break alliances, as well as stopping massive trade income and almost-dead 'zombie' empires with huge 'virtual' trade revenues.

Rigelian Yep your right...

I have never ran into that problem with trading empires... Seems all my games break down to wars quite quickly

Ok, I have never played it multiplayer, dont ask me why I havent earlier.

I did register for the Game, and well, used Jordanian Empire as a name ... had no clue what to take.
Ive read the faq on pbm site, but I'm not a 100 percent sure on anything yet.
Do I need to create my Empire, and send to you?
And the empire images, can those be the standard ones?

Ive read all the rules and so forth, and hope Someone will soon ally me under protectorate treaty

If anyone can give me any info I need to do this .. maybe where I can read good detail of how this is going to work I will apprecieate very much. Ive got till 25th I believe to get everything ready, and hope to be long done before then.
