Sounds like you started a great game, Oleg.

Oleg, use the [save Backups folder] for AIC, enter the folder to see what to copy in to it.
This comes in handy to archive; before or after an event in simultaneous games and only requires Copy and Paste skills.

A good race name can be the Centurions from the System of Centurion, if you like Tittles for this story, which is indeed a great idea and I would be beholden.

Actually, I would like to package your story with every AIC release, when you are finished.

The best way to start with Centurion rich Systems is to generate one to your liking from the in game Quadrant menu with the Centurion Ruins map (AIC v3.01+). You may generate one to a few hundred Systems from this map… In addition, it is great for a one on one game as well.

I recommend you set the AI player count, relative to the Systems that you generate, for a balanced game, the less AI the better; for you that is. Remember, the AI likes those artifacts too.

Play with no Bonus for your first few games; the AI Races for AIC plays very well in the none Bonus start games.

Use any options you desire.
