My memories are of my Atari 800 and my Amiga 1000. I loved getting neat toys with a new game. I still have the stuff from Ultima 3&4. However, I never liked the long load times or having to lookup something before I could play.

Now, I carry my laptop everywhere. Life is good. With a single click I can be playing XCom, CivII, Moo, MOM, or SE4. No floppies, CD's or codewheels. Nothing between me and pure gameplay.

Em, I don't think its matters that MM didn't put much effort into security.

Think about it, find a game which isn't available for download off the internet, or hasn't been 'hacked' in some way, a cheat or a serial code generator.

Only the very very new games have this privellage, and they soon end up hacked a few months later.

So much for security.
