Once when I was too young to rememeber...
Once when I was barely old enough to remember...
And twice to the same rented place for university co-op terms before going back home...

Altho I am very old(over 50) I have moved only 11 times in my life(not counting the military)
four times in southern California,
twice in New Orleans,
twice in Knasas City,Kansas
four times in northwestern Arkansas.
I don't plan to ever move again either!  |

England to NY about 10 years ago
NY to Des Moines (wife med school)
Des Moines to Milwaukee (wife residency)
Milwaukee to Knoxville, Tn in 2 weeks time.
I hate moving and am sick of it. This wont be the Last move as we are moving into (parents owned) rental property for a year, but it will be the Last state-to-state move.
I hate painting too :-)

Three times during college.
Five times after college.
Total, 12 times so far.

College 4 times (montreal canada and New York USA)
Child to teen years 6 times Phillippines, Guam, California, 3 times in brooklyn NY
Army Life: ugh too many times...

As a kid, bounced around Southern California quite a bit, probably about 10 moves in five years. Then moved to Pennsylvania, and bounced around two more times there before settling down for twelve years, and my Last move was to LA for college... so approximately 14 moves in 19 years.
After college, or even during, who knows how many moves. And I'm not counting moving from dorms/apartments, they're all pretty much the same anyway. Studying for a semester at the University of Edinburgh is currently one option... The next decade or so, I won't exactly be settling in one place for to long, I think.

I've moved twice I believe. Once when I was too young to remember. Then moved from that place down to my current place 4 years ago. Its only 5 miles from my old place.
