There are already thousands of images in the componentpack; the point of it is to have one set of images, so players can download it once, and use it in many many mods.
Also so that modders have an huge instant image selection while making their mods.
And, also so small-time artists have a place to put their stuff where it will be seen and used.
I don't recall offhand what rez they are exactly (haven't made any images yet), and I've got to run off to work, but just opening a screenshot in a basic image editor should allow you to count the size.

Gryphin : Thanks for your comments , but I haven't done much in this affair (yet). At least wait 'til I have something interesting to show off before sending me flowers 
SJ : I don't want to compete with the image mod (I don't think it's possible to compete with it anyway). I'm Just looking for ideas for useful pics. Surely I'll send them to the imagemod owner (Fyron ?) when I have something worthy.
I don't have starfury (wonder if anyone who isn't a beta tester does at the moment ?) so I can't make screencopies... |

Trooper, SJ is the "author" of the Image Mod. I just host a mirror and submit lots of screen captures and images from other games to it.
Normally, competition is a good thing. But in this case, a second competing "image mod" would do more harm than good. Any images you or anyone else makes/finds are certainly welcome in the Image Mod. There can never be too many! |

I'll put a link on this page on my next update, to tell my visitors about the image mod. So I don't think it will be a competing page.
I'll also give to suicide junkies my brand new pictures to have them included in the IM, when I will have complete a dozen (or 20, depends on the time it takes).
I find it funny, that people here become worried about my starting projects... Seems I've proved, at least, that when I start something, I make it seriously... |
