Ping: Dogscoff
Dogscoff - A few months ago you graciously volunteered to do a race portrait for my Verduran shipset. I have finally finished the set (see this thread ). Are you still interested in making a race pic for them?
PS. It's really no problem if you don't want to do it, so please don't feel like you're under any obligation.

Re: Ping: Dogscoff
Hmm. Going through that thread, it looks more like TerranC graciously volunteered me, although it's entirely possible that we discussed it by email or PM and I totally forgot.
Anyway, I'm always happy to do race portraits for ppl, so if your race isn't already on my to-do list I'll make sure it's added. I have a weekend to myself this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to do the graphics jobs I have been promising Pathfinder and Katchoo, and yours as well.
My deepest apologies if we have discussed this already and I've forgotten. Don't take it personally, my brain is a litle fried recently, I just need more sleep and less nethack:
code:
e
"There is a kobold corpse here. Eat it? [y/n] n"
"What do you want to eat [huA or ?*] ?"
"h - a tripe ration.
u - a partially eaten tin of pickled jackal.
A - dogscoff's entire life. A"
"Nethack eats dogscoff's entire life. Dogscoff
is now unable to do anything except play
nethack. The goblin hits. The goblin hits. The
goblin hits. You die..."
Anyway, mail me/ remind me of all the pertinent details of your race- how you want them to look, what their behaviour and demeanour and clothes/accessories are like and hopefully I'll get onto it this weekend.

Re: Ping: Dogscoff
Dogscoff - Yes, TerranC did volunteer you in that thread, but I was thinking of our discussion over on this thread
In any case, thanks for volunteering again! I really do appreciate it.
The Verdurans come from a rock homeworld with a carbon dioxide atmosphere. They are like a small tree or shrubbery with dark green leaves (with silver tips). They have no eyes, and they walk on root-like appendages.
Aside from that basic description, feel free to be creative.

Re: Ping: Dogscoff
I volunteered no-one. I only made a friendly suggestion.

Dogscoff, any chance of continuation of SlaneS story in the "xenology" thread ? It started very well !

Re: Ping: Dogscoff
TerranC, that's true - "volunteered" is probably too strong a term. Thanks for the suggestion, it was definitely a good one.

Re: Ping: Dogscoff
Ah yes, there it is. Sorry, your request completely slipped my mind, somehow. I remember it now, of course, but that's easy after re-reading it
It is now officially on my to-do list.
Oleg: Yes. That is also on my to-do list=-) When things take off in the game I might have some cool stuff to write about.

No problem, Dogscoff. It sounds like you've got a lot of projects to work on, and I'm sure it's not easy to keep track of everything.

Excellent! I am really looking forward to seeing your interpretation of the Verdurans.
