OT: Fantasy Football League

Ok, I'm going to get everyones opinion on this. What settings do you think we should use for starting positions? It hasn't really been talked about much so I might as well bring it up before the draft.
I changed it to the following:
1 QB
3 WR
2 RB
2 TE
1 WR/RB
1 WR/TE
1 K
1 DT
8 Bench players.

I am willing to make any changes to that if everyone agrees on settings.

Given that there are maybe 4 TEs in the NFL with any fantasy value, I would recommend dropping the two TE only positions. That would give you 10 starters, and anyone that wants to play a TE can put one in the WR/TE slot.

I agree with Kodiak on the TE's. If you really want to have a TE position, don't have more than one!
Otherwise the list is acceptable to me...Greybeard

I think having 2 RB's with an option for a third gives far too much of an advantage to a team with three strong backs.
As far as TEs, they annoy me. 3 or 4 great ones and then the rest. I like the option to either start one or use a WR instead, since a marginal WR will almost always outscore a good TE.

Given that we are having a live draft and only 8 teams so far, I believe that the rosters should go as suggested by Kodiak - QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 WR/RB, 1 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 DT and 8-10? bench players.
The point made about people starting 3 RBs isn't as valid with a shallow league. 32 NFL teams and 3-4 RBs per fantasy roster = 24-32. If you don't get that 3rd back, you just draft another WR earlier (our league draft 6-7 WR/team, total 48-56, NFL rosters 32 teams x 2-3 = 64-96). I could argue that there are at least 8 decent TE but would rather they be optional as suggested. Absolutely no more than 1 listed as a starter for sure.

*Bump* Draft is in 13 days. If anyone else wants to join feel free to do so. We currently have 8 in the league and plenty of room for more.

Ok, I changed the starting positions finally. It is now as follows:
1 QB
3 WR
1 RB
1 WR/RB
1 WR/TE
1 K
1 DEF
10 Bench

Is the bench level too high? I put it there so that you can have a backup of every position if so desired, plus 1 extra spot.
