Actually, I came pretty close to Kwok's record... I've played SE4 on three machines, I'll go in reverse order so you can be astonished at how slow the first one was...

Previous machine (cheap eMachines desktop system my dad bought a few months before I got my laptop, it's SOOO slow trying to run XP on it!

1 GHz Celeron processor (but the Sandra benchmark utility rated it at 660 MHz... hmm, why would they put SpeedStep on a desktop machine? Or was it overclocked out of the box to make it look faster???
