Re: OT but this might be next years Darwin award
I can't really talk trash about the guy. I mean, after all, he is still alive isn't he?

Everyone who gets born gets killed dead eventually. Well, almost: there are two people listed in the Bible who avoided that.

i think, since there not supposed to taste of death and will pass through it in the twinkling of an eye, it just means they won't be dead a measurable length of time.

Re: OT but this might be next years Darwin award
Actually, I'm talking about avoided death entirely - One was named Enoch; he's listed in the Genesis lineages - Genesis 5:24 "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." (NIV) Some would say that it was a euphamisim for death, but that doesn't fit with the rest of the listings; the rest all use "and then he died." The other was one of the prophets - Elijah, I think it was.

Re: OT but this might be next years Darwin award
IIRC Kain also avoided death. His punishment of killing his brother was to live forever. I might be wrong, though.

Re: OT but this might be next years Darwin award
Literally his punishment was that he was 'marked' in some way. God also said that no one was to kill Cain, because God would come down on them even harder. But it does not list Cain's death, I don't think it lists the deaths of anyone outside the Adam-Seth lineage.

well, if all are to be resurected, then all must die. even if only for less than an instant.
