Computer Question
I have been given a computer with a Diamond Viper V770/Viper770 Ultra Vid card I can not get the Rez higher than 640X480, I am not a wiz but I can not figure it out! and on a 17" screen is a real pain!

Seems like it should at least offer 770 x something... Hmm, is 770 = sqrt ( 640 ^2 + 480 ^2 )? Hmm, no 800.

Hmm, looks like it is supposed to go up to 2048 x 1536.

You need to make sure the correct driver is installed for the card. Then, make sure you have the right monitor specified. Sometimes, if it's not a PNP monitor, it will do something stupid like calling it a generic VGA monitor. So, check those out first.

My monitor is not listed (Packard Bell) and I can not connect to the Diamond site, suffering like PBW Will keep trying to get it thanks all

Diamond is IIRC out of buisness. Go to Nvidia's site and download the drivers there- they still have them for TNT.
