How about Iceland? It's in the middle of the Atlantic (more or less), I hear the airfares are cheap, the bars open like New York diners, and they have hot springs. All we need is a hotel with a working network and we're set!!
Someplace in the Caribbean would be better (I'm sure), but they put so many ads for Iceland in the Last few years, it just makes me wonder.

I'd go to Iceland or Eastern Canada even though it is more than 2 hours.

If I may suggest, Baltimore would be a good central location. It has an international airport (Baltimore/Washington International) to allow any of the European crew who wish it to join us w/o breaking their budgets. BWI also has good US domestic hub service for those coming from within the US. It's also a little less expensive to stay in than DC or NYC.
