Default Re: Possible list of candidates for Governor of California...

I am so pleased with this hoopla. I'm not worried about the outcome. For one thing I'm not a Californian, for another I found that my Response Attitude Set on Politics no longer includes the entry Worry. I feel a sort of 'national immortality' and a subtle confidence that 'it will all work out'. Because of this, my greatest joy in all things public is to see things 'mix it up'. That's why I like to hear about California or Mohmmar Qadaffi: great entertainment value.

On that note, I was hoping this whole recall mess would reignite the Divide California issue, and maybe take it far enough that they would fight over where to divide it, or even how many pieces, now that the northern rural region does not call itself Northern California (this being reserved for the Bay Area) but Upstate California. That would have been real fun to watch.

I have a LIST!!

[edit: I think it was 500 people have filed for the forms to become candidates, but fewer people have actually put their names in the race.]
