If that is what was meant... then it is a bad idea. The number of sticky threads should be kept to a minimum. Also, only threads containing very important information for the whole community should be sticky. Avatars certainly do not qualify. |

There are dozens of threads that are nice for new members. Should all of them be sticky?
That is what the Important SE4 Information sticky thread is for. It has a threads section in it.

Grrrr. OK, Fyron, you've made the point. But remember, you used to have a DEG avatar yourself  - and Dave has put a *lot* of work into doing something to greatly improve the quality of this board for all of us. As Mac would say, "just some ideas".
