That's what I was trying to suggest: maybe creating a storm in an empty sector makes a "Type 1" storm, creating a storm in a Type 1 sector makes a Type 2, and so on up to Type 4.

Like I said, I had 20 storms stacked at one point, and they were all basic sensor blockers.

I think all storms obscure ships.
There are other storm abilities that cause damage but I don't know if you can create them. In the abilities file under Create Storm there are no values given. I don't know if you can add to abilities if none are given.

Wow... whatever happened to some of those people down there?
Dunno why but I saw the thread topic and thought S_J was treating us to some fanfic. "Storm Generation" would be a cool title for a story, about, umm... a generation of people... uh... who have... something to do with a storm..?
