The concept ship at the start of this thread, was something that I visualized Last night. I had not considered that it looked like some boat, but given the fact that most ships do look like boats in some way or another, I guess it fits.

I was thinking along the lines of a Cat Race.

It reminds me more of a Formula 1 than a boat.

But if you want a list of interesting shapes on which to base ships, I can throw down a few.

My favorite has to be the feline shoulder blade. There's just something about asymmetry

Sigh...

now I'm starting to miss GarLunarFang... he was (and might still be) a regular at the Atari MOO3 forums, and he had the cutest little manga cat avatar, so all the newbies thought he was a girl

And he'd always roleplay this cat character who had a weakness for Mrrshan catnip...
