No, the delays in Football are anoying at times, but they are strategically placed to allow snack/bathroom breaks without missing any of the action. In soccer you can take a 2 hour bathroom break and not miss anything significant.

Whew, that line at the snack bar took forever. What'd I miss?

Uh, they all ran this way for a while, then they all ran back the other way for a while. Actually I am not sure about any more then that cause I have been sitting here doing my taxes to keep from nodding off. But the score is still tied, zero-zero.
