How are mechas supposed to carry shields and repair bays? Those don't really work on troops... or are these transformer mecha that turn into spaceships and fly from planet to planet?

would be neat to see-- i enjoy all types of mod changes to SE IV--I however am not a shipset desighner (yet)--so i cant help out in the ships. I would try it out though))))).

This sounds like a good addition to a mod, not a shipset. New "Giant Robot Bays", "Giant Robots", "Giant Robot Weapons", and a "Nadesico High Mobile Civilian Battleship" for a carrier! Obviously, they would launch like fighters, but kick *** in ground combat, as well!
