Re: PING: Ruatha
Yes, I know quite a bit about the balance of power in the area, and I am not really surprised about these relationships. Three of the most powerful Empires fighting each other, while the basic unit to measure their strength is hundreds of ships.
I am curious about the current state of the NethernoS, but of course that is classified data. And my own Empire will likely get involved in this area sooner or later as well, so. Good luck with the NethernoS Empire, I'm afraid you will need it.

Re: PING: Ruatha
Yes, this war is only the biggest war going on for now and for quite a while. I know about the Kilrah/Argon conflit, but this one involves much less warships. And of course, the Zax/Rorg/Nyxian war will alter the fate of the galaxy, while I am not sure it will be the case for the other war. (Or of the other wars currently going on for that matter)
Your Empire is one of the three I don't know about, although I can guess where it is located. If I am right, that is not exactly an enjoyable position, even if it is definitively better than being right in the middle of the Three Empires aforementioned.

Re: PING: Ruatha
I am just trying to stay out of the major conflicts. On the other hand the Argons are probably my most trustworthy ally at the moment. However a potential conflict between me and the Brhaozuinf (I don't even bother trying to spell it anymore) has been averted and peacefully settled. I just hope I get enough time to get my fleets upto par for the course, so I can at least put up a decent fight should the big boys look toward the middle of the map.
Heh. The Kilrah/Argon conflict... I tried so hard to keep peace between those Groups. *sigh*

Re: PING: Ruatha
Yes, it cannot be spelled so I basically say the Free Communist Socialist Republic or rather, the Republic. (It should be like Bzwerzxv or something along these lines) A potential conflict between the Alteri and me has been settled as well. Good, it seems like neither of us wanted to fight.
Let's pray none of the big Empires will have a look at what is going on in this sector of the galaxy. If they destroy each other, they will pave the way to our future domination after all. *Smirks*
The death shrine *should* affect all weapons theoretically, but I never checked so.

Hey, I didn't sneak, the warppoint was opend with a loud Bang! clearly to be heard in the whole system (despite the vacuum surrounding it, but who cares for physics when it interferes with fiction ).
And you can hardly call 20 ships a "large" fleet - more for exploration than for combat. Look at the Zax+Rorg / Nyxian conflict - number of ships less than 3 digits = just not worth mentioning
