well, i agree that 3rd edition is way better to get into, 2nd and AD&D are complex and stray from KISS principle, i just find that they give far more freedom in actions, at least thats the way my current campaign is. have i said that three times already?

And fyron, i might be wrong but isnt AD&D is a split-off of 2nd edition?
