Hi to all the newbies. I have been around for awhile. Not alot of Posts. But what can you do? *shrugs and looks at the cheese with a bit of suspicion*
I make it a point not to trust cartoon mice... they are always so vicious and cruel...

Re: OT: Hello to all the newbie\'s!
The "How old are you?" question is so mundane...more suitable for the likes of Yahoo really. But, if you must know, I'm a semi-old-fart (51) like Gryphin.

Cipher - As long as you know, (and can perform), the Gryphin Position you are never old. Of course it helps if your life partner is 10 years yonger.

Re: OT: Hello to all the newbie\'s!
ah, you should not downplay the question. the simple numbers are pretty pointless, but it was a great thread where everyone explained who they were, where they lived, what they did, and things like that. it was the friendly-get-to-know-everyone thread.
a much better way to make introductions than on the various political war/peacemongering threads, which you would walk away from thinking people are just sort of oppinionanted and beligerant, rather than really people.

Re: OT: Hello to all the newbie\'s!
I suppose that's true Puke, it's as good an ice breaker as anything. I'm not easily offended myself, so I tend not to worry about the arguments that arise on Boards and chats. And I can enjoy both the serious and the silly. I've seen (and participated in) a bit of each during the approximately 3 weeks I've been visiting this forum. If I don't like where I am, I move on.
So you see, I'm easy to get along with.
