Re: Do You Ever Get Tired Of Playing SEIV?
Yes I got tired of playing it but in truth my attention span for anything is about 3 weeks. Combine that with bein unable to save in the middle of a long 1 hour turn (I play slow. I'm not as fast as some of you.)
So I play Empire Deluxe Internet Edition. A game without as much deapth but lots of fun anyway. the next Version will have as much more deapth and the ability to program the AI. It should be a lot more dynamic.

Hehe. I fancy myself the strong, silent type (the latter moreso than the former). But I'm around more often than any of the regulars would probably be comfortable with, so I'll just keep the specifics a secret.
Isn't my supreme lurkness just the creepiest thing ever?!

Way ahead of you, my friend. I'm currently working around the clock on new, soon-to-be-patented Klingon Lurking Device technology that, if my theories prove correct, will allow me to post without de-lurking.
Be very, very afraid.

Yes, I get tired of SEIV, though I have never been able to not play it, except when PBW is down, as I am always in at least a few PBW games.

Re: Do You Ever Get Tired Of Playing SEIV?
I always find my way back to it also. Do any one know of any good mods out there that balance out the technology with out adding the quasi-newtonian engine. I playing a game right now that I modded the torpedos to be more effective, missiles to be smaller, and other techs to have other benefits. Like wave motion does double damage to shields. Plasma missile penetraits armor. That sort of thing. So far I'm having a good time. Adds more variety.
