Re: PBW Auto turns are back on.
I pay 30 USD a month for 1.5 mb/s down and 128 kb/s up DSL. Though admittedly, it was on some discounted plan with a year long contract, and it normally costs 40 USD. My parents pay around 20 USD a month for cable, which runs a bit over 3 mb/s down and 128 kb/s up. It is packaged with basic cable tv, but that is not really much of a cost issue, as they would have gotten the same cable tv package either way. Such a plan would have been pointless for me as I already get basic cable for free (or some small hidden flat rate in the rent...) in my apartment complex.

How fast it is? I've never really measured it. It's fast enough that I find I'm usually waiting on the site to keep up with me. I downloaded the new (trial) Version of MediaFace (v4.0) a few days ago. It was 80MB and downloaded in about 5 minutes. Upload is about twice the speed of a 56k Modem, though, I think.
