I loved this film too. Makes me wish I could have done something like that, since my dad passed away in 2000. But we never had a short-wave radio. We had a cb for a short time in the 70's. Another movie I like with that theme is Field of Dreams. Not really a sci-flick, but you have the ghosts/reincarnations? of some of baseball's greats and then Ray's dad shows up. |
