Re: When was the Last time you built a ring world?
I have built many sphere worlds but no ring worlds. Since we can't upgrade a ring world into a sphere world, I don't build until I've got sphere world technology. Don't want to use up the star by building a ring world which isn't as big as a sphere world. ...even though this may not always be the best strategy.

Re: When was the Last time you built a ring world?
I've never built one either. I started to in one PBW game, but it ended before I got the chance to finish it.

The bear went over the mountain,

To see what he could see,

And all that he could see,
Was the other side of the mountain,
Was the other side of the mountain.

Well Atrocities .I built one In stock se4gold,AI diffuculty Medium ,turn base game, 25% Left to discover in unknown systems,1st place. By the time i built one and a few facilitys on it, made it my major Hub for ships, the game was mostly over,I pretty much destroyed all but 1 or 2 Ai empires .Never had a chance to see what benefite this ringworld can do.Note: I never built a Sphereworld yet.
