You know that in a 2 on 2 map you need plenty of asteroid belts in the middle ground with probably 2 huge planets per system and 3 small ones and plenty of interconnecting warp points to encourage attacks and fight over the central systems from many directions to make it interesting.

You need a few trap points with warp points having a storm ring around the outside. Or perhaps an entire system empty connecting the two sides of the map with all storms (ship damanging except for like an alley that will force the 2 teams to have a single path in the system to generate an attack bias.
