Difference between Star Trek Mods?

I like them both (AST - STM) but my favorite is STM, because its more ST and less stock techs. And so it is suited better for role-playing, which I prefer.

The Star Trek Mod is always being worked on. It is a never ending project. Even after I give up on it and move on to something else, someone else will pick up the peaces and move on.

The AST mod is also now being worked on again. I am helping when I have time, but mostly CNC is doing the work on it. The Star Trek Mod is always being worked on. It is a never ending project. I got the STM 1.51 patch yesterday, did not take a look but will do that in a minute.
