Here I've been playing this game for almost 2 years, and I've never considered some of those points. Thanks, Fyron, I'll keep this in mind next time I create a new game.

On the (F6) Ships list, click on the Orders button, then click on the Orders column header. This sorts the orders alphabetically, with ships without orders sorted as if the column said "None".

You can also use space to cycle through all ships not having orders. Very useful feature.

Nearly everything on there is debatable Tesco.  Except things like 110 maintenance reduction is a must have minimum... playing with anything lower is just silly.
