Another Mistake
*sigh*
I finally succumbed to the urge today to order SE IV Gold. For the next few days, I will bid my wife and family adieu.

Re: Another Mistake
Welcome Wildcard.
This is a game that will keep you hooked and the only thing to keep your home life happy is to get your wife and kids involved. Mind you, then it means more time fighting over computer time.
I've got my wife playing in a team PBW game, and if she wins, especailly over the big boys like Primative, Tesco & the current KOTH King Asmala, then she is really going to be hard to live with.

Getting your wife playing SEIV I mean, I'm trying that for months now (if she is hooked herself she will not naging on me, because I'm only playing for just 7 hours.)
Offcourse I've got 2 computers........

Re: Another Mistake
I got her hooked by 'sharing interests'.
In the first game of the SE3 demo I didn't attack her in our first game and let her win the second game. Then SE4 came out, and she was hooked.
Mind you picking the right partner always helps.
We think it is funny when we start talking about the 'Pairs' PBW game, our 3.5 year old son starts talking about the 'Ships he built' and he is now always building rockets with his Lego.

Re: Another Mistake
My wife only plays one game on the computer, and that's Mahjongg, or Shanghai (that's the name I first knew it as). She may be on there for a couple of hours when she does play. I don't think she'd be interested in SE4, since she's not into sci-fi. I hope to get my son interested, but I'm waiting until he gets older before I let him touch the computer unsupervised. He's only 3. Welcome aboard, Wildcard.
