Re: TDM-ModPack 3.40 Beta
have you tried setting their intel, cunning etc, up higher in pre-game set up? Don't know if that would help, but might be worth a try,

Re: TDM-ModPack 3.40 Beta
GREAT HORNY TOADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well it seems that with the latest patch, the AI is sure using its bonus well! I'm playing a large galaxy with 19 TDM AI opponents with a medium bonus. At turn 152ish the United Flora mosey in with a fleet of 107 ships. Visible ships! There may be other ships in the fleet cloaked but I don't seem to remember UF using any cloaking...
Anyway, while I have fielded several fleets of BB's and DN's with an average size of 25-30 ships, the UF has a few fleets of the same size wreaking havoc in a few systems.
Then in comes this BEAST of a fleet of 107 ships! OMFG!!! Big ships too!!! My nearby fleet of 25 dreads ran like it's butt was on fire (well soiled itself first, then ran).
This is one tough game. I'm currently barely in first place and I think UF is in 2nd. I had a rough start so I think my lead is based on production with the UF having more ships. Not exactly sure since I have the scores only on for allies.
Just some feedback to the TDM guys... That UF is very well made indeed.
Slick.

Re: TDM-ModPack 3.40 Beta
Ok, lads, I have just compiled the final Version that is now in internal testing. Expect to see the full Version (and an update Version) very soon.

Re: TDM-ModPack 3.40 Beta
in 3.30, the startup screen is the original from the older Versions of the game - are you planning to change that? just curious..

Re: TDM-ModPack 3.40 Beta
For reference, ANY mod that works in SE4 1.84 is automatically 100% compatible with SE4 1.91. It will not use the new modding features of 1.91, but those do not affect TDM at all anyways. However, TDM will lack the changes to several data files (Components.txt and Facilities.txt namely) that are in 1.91. Simple solution is to install TDM 3.30 (possibly apply 3.40 BETA patch if you wish), then copy Components.txt and Facilities.txt from the SE4\Data folder to the TDM-Modpack\Data folder. TDM makes no changes to these files at all, so replacing them with the new 1.91 stock files is not a problem.
