Super Troopers is one of those Low-Brow, Low Budget Comedies that got funding based on the success of American Pie, Road Trip, and maybe one other quasi-successful film that same summer. it is stupid and shamefull, but it has a few bits of entertaining dialog and a few quotable moments.
If you like stupid-funny you may well enjoy it. I have not seen the others.

If I were you, I'd just check them out on IMDB.COM, tesco. I use that site so much, it has a revered place right beside this forum, PBW, and my Ratings site on the Link bar  .
[edit] Oh, and I think Volunteers is the one with John Candy and Tom Hanks. Can't go wrong with much of any Tom Hanks movies.
