That was the first place I had heard about the Y2K bug. It was an interesting bit of background for one of the characters, that supposedly he made his fortune figuring out how to fix all those computers in time.

Edit: Ah, never mind. The book I read was not Cusslers novel, but was The Ghost From the Grand Banks by but Arthur C Clarke. Kind of the same idea I guess. But without the spy story underpinning.

I liked Clarke's ideas on how to raise both sections of the Titanic. I wonder how feasible it would be in today's terms. It would be costly, though.
