[OT] Pagan festival!

Well, at least the holiday is being kind to some. I'm going to a friend's hometown, and it looks like I will not only get to participate in a Passover Seder (which my friend informs me is a two+ hour ordeal in his family), but also a Easter service (which my friend informs me is a two+ hour ordeal in the church the other part of his family goes to).

But, when we're not being surrounded by those far more pious than I, we plan on getting good and drunk with a fine group of people. So I guess it balances out

For all you Vikings, happy Shrovetide. I dont know what exactly happens during Shrovetide, but I understand that it has alot to do with daylight coming back.
