If SE5 isn't made, then the illegal downloading/trading of SE4 will have hurt the development of SE
This is a post project judgement.

Of course, if everyone went and and bought SE4 and Starfury regardless of whether they liked it or not, then this would greatly benefit the situation and feul future development of the product range.
