So what happened to that PBW game? I thought it was supposed to be starting soon?

Sorry for the delay! A couple of players signed up, but I haven't been able to get an email reply from them telling me which empires they picked... I'll give them one more day...
And it looks like another player just signed on.
I'll send out another round of email to these guys, and if I don't hear back by Thursday, we'll go on without 'em.

You can only have a maximum of 6 Endurance components. If you want more supplies, you need to take Extra Supplies or the emergency supply specific to your race.

There is a finite limit to how much endurance you can add to a "ship."
Beat out by a few seconds...

heh i was just designing ships when i noticed the difference between the two supply components. To be honest i was JUST trying to ask why one would get the 200 supply components instead of the 500 ones. I suggest two thinges:
- make a new ability line in the 500-supply component telling you something like "max of 6 per chara"
- From what i have seen so far 3000 supplies (6x500) is quite much. I dont see the need for additional supplies. Maybe the max per design should be reduced to 4 or something. That way there would be a need for more supplies, and since you cant have more than 4 of the 500 supply components you would have to add the 200 ones.
To be honest i didnt looked how much supplies endgame spells need, but i guess 3000 supplies is frankly enough.

My thought was if I maxed cheap supplies (Endurance) at 2000, then everyone would always take the maximum amount of Endurance. By bumping it up a bit, I figured you'd have to choose between maxing out your Endurance and using the space for spells/armor.
The "Extra Supplies" component is mainly just for scouts.
I'll likely be fine tuning supply and supply costs after this game, so if you find that you have too much or too little - or any other observations - please let me know!
