Re: PBW games
Just go to the PBW site...
http://seiv.pbw.cc
... and sign up.
After that you can join any open game. Either one not yet started or one in progress looking for a replacement player.
Good luck and enjoy!
Oh, completely off topic: What does the " .cc " mean in the address? I've seen .com, .org, .edu etc. as well as country suffixes like .ca, .de, .au, but this is the only time I've seen .cc.

Re: PBW games
Maybe .cc is the country suffix for Cue Cappa.

Re: PBW games
Man I have never felt so much like a newbie! I log onto the site and I search for games. I really don't know what I am doing. Do I just sign up and then make an empire in SE4 and then send it to the server???
Also, if I want to create a game (not many normal games being started - only mods) do I create the game in SE4 first or something? The faqs made me more confused :?

Re: PBW games
I'll suggest you start as a replacement player in a game or two first, just to get a feel for the game mechanics.
"24 Hour game patch 4" sounds like a good choice for you (just guessing, but it might be worth a try )
When you have the basics down; try join the KOTH league for some fast and furious one-on-one action
As for starting your own game: You set up the basics at PBW. When you have enough players, you download their empires and create the game on your own computer. Upload the game to PBW again and everything is (more or less) handled automatic from there. Getting players are the tricky part, so unless you have some friends lined up, advertising here will be your best option.

Actually, it is for the Cocos Islands.
