High tech cost, 1 planet start and a lot of players will make most of these games veeery long. Minimum 100 turns, but my guess is more like 150.
Fun settings, but SE V will probably be at the second patch before this tournament is over

Hate to admit it, but I agree with the big P. But if the settings are set in stone, so be it. I'll throw in my hat anyway and see how it goes. (if we wind up beside each other, P, then we'll just have to work together!)
Send me some info, Tesco, on how to get a check for entry.

Re: PBW RACE TO SEV TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
I guess it depends on what the turn frequency is. If Tesco sets it to 24hrs and is strict on that the game will go fairly quick.

Re: PBW RACE TO SEV TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
Well, currently, T/A time is listed at 48 hrs. It nothing is changing in the settings...then 48 hrs it will be. 24, IMO, would be pushing it anyway. If time were to change, I think 36 might be better.

Re: PBW RACE TO SEV TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
I looked at the rules three times and couldn't find the turn time limit listed.

Its on the tournament website
24 hours would be off limits to a lot of players, me included.

Re: PBW RACE TO SEV TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
At any rate, 48hrs would get us through 100 turns in 6-7 months. So there's a chance we could finish before SeV comes out. At least the first round.

Re: PBW RACE TO SEV TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
Perhaps a medium tech start with medium tech cost will speed things along a bit?
