Sierra did a series of games titled Hoyle Classic Card Games, Hoyle Classic Board Games, and Hoyle Casino.
My favorite of their titles was the World War I flight sim Red Baron II.

Just goes to show that nothing good ever comes from mergeing with a larger Company. All it does is make the employees all the more expendable.
I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Vivendi posted a good sized profit Last year... |

Hopefully all those laid off game maker's will form their own independant company's and kick the legs out from under the big ones.

Maybe, if the company didnt buy it for them.
But still its not like making up a name is enough to become a company. And making people aware of it would be a big part also even if the individuals are well known in the buisness. They would either have to take jobs and do it as a thing on the side, or it would take money to try and maintain a "I make games for a living" lifestyle
