Re: new .wav files for mod
There's something called the TampaGamer Sound Mod out there somewhere, though I'm not sure where to find it... and Fyron and I have been wanting to start up a "SoundPack" to go along with the ImagePacks that Suicide Junkie maintains... I have all the MOO2 sounds in .wav format, if you'd like those - I'm sure Atari wouldn't mind

Re: new .wav files for mod
You have to have ALL of the stock game sound files in your mod's Sounds folder in order to use them. SE4 will NOT look in the stock Sounds folder for missing sounds. Alternatively, you can place the new sounds in the stock Sounds folder...
Edit: Posted this before I read Ekolis' post... silly me.
There was some discussion months ago about creating a Sound Pack, just like the Image Mod but for Sounds instead. Unfortunately, there did not seem to be much interest in making submissions to it... maybe it is time to start it up again?

Re: new .wav files for mod
A sound pack is a wonderful idea...I'm sure with all of the computer/web savy individuals here we could amass a large amount of different .wav files, which could be used for all kinds of mods...and I'm sure it would be useful as well when SE5 comes out.

ive allready tested some sounds and they work ok,
apart from the timing, some of the weapons repeat fire to fast so u dont hear the full sound all the time

Re: new .wav files for mod
Perhaps you could package up the good sounds and submit them to me... follow the rules in the Sound Pack thread.
