Re: New Oxidran Shipset
The designs are very nice, but the textures make the ships look a bit cartoonish. You need a subtler, more detailed look to give an impression of their supposed size.

Re: New Oxidran Shipset
I know they look kinda cartoonish. That is the look I was aiming for. Same with my Chillian set. Realism is not my style. In fact, this set doesn't use any textures at all! I know it's weird but this just looks right to me.

Re: New Oxidran Shipset
All done! You can download the Oxidran from here:
http://www.pedfamhome.homeip.net/ISA/Files/Oxidran.rar
Remember that the AI files are set up for Eclipse Mod and you will have to transfer a different AI fileset over to them for use in stock games or other mods.

Re: New Oxidran Shipset
hey, i need to offend you. Im using dial up, and your pictures are definitly WAY to big. Cant you size them down ?!? Think about the people who dont have DSL. It makes me really angry FFS, everywhere on there net you see big pictures, flash movies and shiny buttons BUT NO ONE THINKS ABOUT THE poor dial up user....
Please, scale them down !

Re: New Oxidran Shipset
That is not quite true. SpaceEmpires.net has minimalist themes available that use almost no graphics, so have fast loading times. ExtraLite and Kaput, for example. Some people think of the dialup Users.

Re: New Oxidran Shipset
Sorry. These pics are all small jpg's that are under 100kb. I figured that would only take about 2 seconds for each picture on a 56k modem. I guess I was wrong. Sorry.
