Re: OT: How old are you ?
Awesome, never heard of Midway, and never really got into MOO either. Im interested in hearing about them though. I was a VGA Planets/Stars! man before SEIII.

It seems the links (if there ever were any) have fallen out of sight.

This is the colorized, and "Temporally Stabilized" Version that I fixed up. The game is exactly the same as normal, except for added delays, which will give people using today's computers a chance to read the text Messages.

Re: OT: How old are you ?
37 old (ouch!), playing wargames and RPG since 22 years (yeah !), and playing with computer games since 16... with an Apple IIe, great machine !
I had a very cool game of space combat where you designed your ships, can't recall the name ...
I acquired my first PC box just to play Civ when it came out, but first 4x I played was MOO1 however, not that old !

Re: OT: How old are you ?
38. Have been playing wargames for about 30 years and computer games for about 23.
My first computer was a Tandy TRS80 model II.
Best game on it was a carthaginian wars game called Hannibal

Re: OT: How old are you ?
I'm 33, been gaming since around 1980, mostly boardgames. First wargame was Avalon Hill's "Battle of the Bulge", played Star Fleet Battles, Starfire series, a host of RPG games & WWII boardgames over the years. Kinda new to pc games, been playing SE series since 99/00. Just "went Gold", looking forward to experimenting with the new Version.

Re: OT: How old are you ?
25, playing computer games since ... some sort of Nam-chopper-rescue-game on the AppleII-something. Got into wargames just after I recovered from the scourge of Magic: The Gathering (in '94 or '95, I guess).
My _Father_ played Starflight! I picked up a copy (of I nad II), but my (incurable) habit of hex-editing the save for any game with more than two stats and a story line made short work of both, and probably 'ruined' them for me.
