Re: OT: How old are you ?
I am 25, and I am the Third person in one store that is part of a large national Chain. I have worked for them since I was 16, and will be entering the companies Store Managment training program in about a week. I will eventually be a store manager. I just finished my 6th year of college and have achived my degree in marketing, amoung other things. I have lived and worked in 3 states on the West Coast, and one in the Mid West.

Re: OT: How old are you ?
I finally decided to stop lurking around and post in this very fine thread.
I'm 26, living in Germany, a student of history and dedicated to playing comp games since good ol' C-64 times(I actually had an C-128 and was very proud of it, hehe, 64k more than my friends ). Stumbled over SE4 nearly two years ago and have been reading here for the same amount of time, seldomly posting...shame one me . I love PBW and finished two great games(DarkWars and DiploWar II...thx to all players involved for the fun I had!)
If I'll ever grow up, I'll become either a king, a bum, or a rockstar!
Check out my bands page and have fun playing! HodgePodgeGardens
ah yes, btw, i'm the singer...

Re: OT: How old are you ?
25. I kinda work at a place that is almost a company. No, really...the reality is that vague.
We were poor growing up and isolated. So my first strategy games were ones my friends and I created using leftover toys. We had rules and codes of conduct. Mucho fun. All was going well until the day we decided a trench war would be more fun if instead of math determining kills, we used fire crackers.
Parents weren't in the mood to buy us more figures, seeing we just blew them up, and we weren't about to shell out for them ourselves. Luckily a friend of mine got his first computer...and, well....that is another story.
EDIT: Oh, and since we didn't have outside influences to keep our strategy fetishes alive, my experience is that the game does not make the geek. Rather the geek is either a product of genetics or divine revelation. I perfer the latter.
