Re: New Player
I tried this Last night and there is no bug in this Version. So, it must be 'fixed'.
But, keep in mind when you 'group' your units into fleets it appears like they don't start to share supplies until the next turn sometimes (if one of the ships has already moved?)

Re: New Player
Beta tester, eh? Sounds like fun. Especially on a game this nice. All I have is the older demo. I'm really looking forward to the final Version.
Think I'll start over again and try another racial design.

PS. editing this addition: There *is* a problem doing what I described in the Demo Version of the game. If you build a Medium Freighter without building a resupply depot then the ship will start with no moves. If you then build the resupply depot later this medium freighter still wont be supplied. This is a fact. Also, If you run a Light Cruiser out of supplies, so that its moves drop to one, then group another light Cruiser with it that has supplies, the moves will stay at one in the demo Version. Waiting a turn does not help.

Re: New Player
Woody: to resuply a ship, you need to send other ship with the "Suply Storage" component, group both ships into a fleet and wait one turn.

Re: New Player
Ah, I see. I thought that ships in a fleet should be sharing supplies. They seem to share supplies unless one runs completely out. I havent tested that, though.
I havent put any of the resupply components on the ships yet. Perhaps I should for situations like these.

Re: New Player
Actually, you don't need the supply storage component. Any ships grouped together in a fleet will share supplies with one another.

Re: New Player
I was completely fooled. I read the first few posts and thought they were talking about the SEV demo. I thought, wow, some old forum members have come back to play SEV. I didn't realize it until I finally got to the "necromancy" comment.
